With great pleasure we’d like to introduce the 13th board of ESN Rotterdam to you all. They will begin their mandate on August 1st and all are very excited to get started on the new year of 2020-2021!
I am fascinated by politics and society, so I study Public Administration in Dutch. I was born and raised in the East-African tropical country of Tanzania. I moved to the bike-riding Netherlands when I was 13 years old! I am now 23 and will be doing a full-time board year. Fun fact: I have the loveliest two-year-old sister who loves cuddling.
Vice President & Secretary
My name is Tamarah and I am 20 years old. I am half Dutch and half Israeli. I was born and raised in Rotterdam but my family lives in many different countries, so I still grew up in quite an international environment. I am currently a third year IBEB student but in the coming year I will be part of ESN Rotterdam as a full-time board member. When I am not studying you can find me making dinners with friends or working as a waitress in a cafe.
I’m Katya and I’m 19 years old. Currently I’m going into my 3rd year of International Business Administration. I will be working as a boardie part-time. I’m from Russia and I was a finalist of a lip sync battle in my high school.
Hanneke van der Meer
My name is Hanneke and I am 21 years old. Currently I am in my third year of the bachelor econometrics. I will be a full time board member at ESN Rotterdam. I am Dutch, which is partially the reason why my guilty pleasure is listening to Gerard Joling music.
My name is Andreea and I am currently in my final year of International Bachelor in Economics and Business Economics, majoring in Marketing. I am 22 years old and I come from Romania. During the next academic year I will be taking a part-time role as marketing manager. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy dancing!
I’m Rhys and I’m a 23 year old Economics and Business Economics student. I’m a part-time board member this coming year, although I’m usually around the ESN office 24/7 in my free-time, and not-so-free time, anyway. I grew up in Dubai and have Australian, Taiwanese, as well as Irish citizenship. Aside from bugging all the student associations in my free time, I enjoy watching stand-up comedy and Netflix comedy specials.
