Why apply?
As a board member, you get the opportunity to lead our organization for a year! By creating a home away from home, you can make a difference for (international) students in Rotterdam and play a key part in the internationalization of Erasmus University and the city of Rotterdam. With a team of 6 board members, 40+ committee members, and 100+ buddies, you’ll have a challenging but also incredibly exciting and inspiring year. They’ll look at you for guidance!
A board year is a unique professional experience and will supply you with hard and soft skills which will last you a lifetime and will be reflected in your C.V.. Moreover, you will be able to expand your network by taking advantage of over 530 connected ESN locations all around Europe. As a board member of ESN Rotterdam, you will get plenty of traveling opportunities to visit these cities and learn from the experiences. Most importantly, however, is the fact that you will be able to work together with students on a daily basis under the principle of students helping students. Together with your fellow board members, you will have a lasting impact on the lives of international students in Rotterdam. If you do it right, they’ll remember their time abroad as the best time of their life! And we can tell from our own experience that their gratitude is priceless!
