Thanks for joining this volunteering week in France!
Here is important information to know before leaving:
- a FULL WORKING DAY in Calais is between 0920 and 6.30pm (at the latest)
- It is a legal requiremnent in France to carry a piece of photo ID with you – this MUST be the ID that you used to enter France
- Please note you cannot attend a distribution if you do not have your ID with you
- please ensure you are wearing culturally appropriate clothing when in Calais – this means shoulders, knees and midriff must be covered
- Warm clothes are highly recommended
- If you have space to bring donations, please do. We are also always in need of INSTANT COFFEE AND BISCUITS! Any amount, any brand
- Make sure you have a valid insurance: ESN Rotterdam will not take responsibility for losses
