Right now, when all events are cancelled, bars and clubs are closed, our daily physical activities have most likely been reduced. It is easier than ever to spend the whole day unwinding by the TV. However, it is important to remember that it is important to keep moving in order to stay in shape and stay healthy. You do not need the gym in order to work out. There is no need for extra equipment, there are hundreds of work-out plans available for free online. Not only that, many gyms offer free online classes!
YouTube has a wide range of work out videos suited for everyone. One of my favorite channels for work out videos is MadFit. With over 3 million subscribers and a new video every day, the instructor offers everything from stretching to full body workouts. Some videos are 5 minutes, some are 35. You can choose whatever you find interesting and suitable for yourself.
Another thing you can do in order to stay healthy and active at this time is to go for power walks or go running. If you have a park or a forest near you – perfect! Use it for your advantage. A small tip – start your day early and go for a power walk every morning (or every other). Even if sleeping in till 11am seems like the perfect thing to do, leave that for the weekends. You will feel much more energized and productive if you wake up at 8 or 9am! Fresh air, walking and being productive is the perfect recipe for a positive mindset and a healthy lifestyle.
